My law practice is dedicated to protecting individuals’ rights and aggressively fighting for them in both criminal defense and family law matters.  Over the past 25 years, my office has experienced great growth.  Our focus, however, has remained the same – our clients.. While my professional background and experience is important for you to know, many of my clients appreciate learning a bit about who I am outside of work.  I have been married for 29 years, and my wife and I have seven children.  I stay active by participating in 5k races, riding my bike, and playing sand volleyball.  I am a fan of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln athletic programs (Go Huskers), and I also enjoy Tom Clancy novels.. I am a 1995 graduate of Creghton Law School, with honors.  I have been in private practice for twenty years, with a concentration on real estate, probate, estate planning and debt collection matters.. mmediately prior to my legal career I spent nine years managing computer facilities for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, California and Huntington Beach, California, where I also completed my undergraduate work at the University of San Francisco.. Before working at MDC, I was a United States Marine, guarding embassies and consulates in Port Au Prince, Haiti, and Jerusalem, Israel as part of the elite Marine Security Guard Batallion.  In Israel, I was part of the security teams for Jimmy Carter and George Schultz.. I frequently volunteer in the Omaha community.
