OUR PHILOSOPHY -. Our philosophy is straightforward. We believe  in building long-term relationships with our clients. In order to achieve this, our office carefully limits the number and type of cases which are being managed. By using this approach, our office can focus on providing quality legal representation.. OUR APPROACH -. Our office takes into consideration the following three-steps to provide quality representation: 1) objective to be achieved; 2) whether litigation is the best course to achieve such objective; and 3) if alternative cost-effective means exist to achieve the same objective.. WORD ABOUT SIZE -. Clients are sometimes concerned that hiring a small firm when the other party is represented by a larger firm will put them at a disadvantage. Fortunately, with the advances in technology, smaller firms have access to the same resources which were primarily utilized by larger firms in the past. In addition, we take steps to actively invest in technology to ensure that our clients receive quality legal representation.

My reputation is based upon earning the trust of my clients by carefully analyzing their needs and providing the best overall value when dealing with their needs. I hope my clients are pleased with their experience, return, and refer me to their associates in need of assistance.  The success of my mostly referral-based practice comes from my basic philosophy about the practice of law. I believe lawyers should write well, speak plainly, and have an aggressive, common-sense approach to resolving even the most complex disputes. Most importantly, I believe lawyers should be committed to providing the highest quality service at the most competitive rate.

I have been a practicing attorney since 2008 and my practice has focused almost exclusively on child custody and family law matters. I first began practicing juvenile dependency law as a trial attorney for Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers, Inc. As a trial attorney, I conducted dozens of significant and complex trials on issues such as child coaching and parental alienation, allegations of sexual abuse, and cases where there were allegations of severe physical abuse resulting in permanent physical injury to the child involved. I have extensive experience and training in the intricacies of examining and cross-examining expert witnesses and I have secured the dismissal of numerous juvenile dependency petitions, including several Welfare & Institutions Code section 300(e) petitions, by effectively employing or cross-examining medical expert witnesses.. My practice later focused more on juvenile dependency writ and appeal practice. In this capacity, I reviewed trial court proceedings to determine if there were any legal errors committed, conducted extensive legal research regarding potential errors, and authored and argued appellate briefs before the court of appeals.. As a family law practitioner, I have successfully argued a number of motions, including motions to modify temporary custody orders and motions for attorney’s fees. I have extensive experience with family law and motion practice and family law discovery motion practice and I have authored numerous briefs on a wide range of issues.. Prior to beginning my law practice, Ireceived a B.A. from UC Berkeley and my law degree from Indiana University-Bloomington. I am admitted to the State Bar of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. I am also a member of the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association.. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball (usually very poorly), spending time with my two small children, and watching bad reality television shows with his wife.

I grew up in a small town where I learned the values of hard work, perseverance, and respect. I’ve also lived and studied abroad in three different continents —observing first hand what works and what doesn’t.. I know the values in the US that are worth fighting for to preserve and protect, but I’m realistic enough to know that things could always be better.. I strive to be the best at whatever I set my mind to. I’m a passionate advocate and a natural leader. I’m a people person, but I can just as easily find contentment in solitude.. I hold a Juris Doctor and a Master of Legal Studies in Human Rights from Trinity Law School. I did my undergraduate at Liberty University where I obtained a Bachelor of Science.. I’m an advocate for the oppressed and I seek justice. I believe in treating others with respect and doing the right thing. I’m not afraid to fight a good fight and see justice done. I have a heart for the little guy or gal, and I am not afraid to stand up to a bully.. I graduated top-in-class from Trinity Law School and received the highest award at commencement by vote of the faculty. I went on to pass the California State Bar Exam on my first attempt.. Let’s work together and make this world a better place.
