Or would you prefer to have a relationship with a trusted lawyer who knows you, understands the nature of your business, the challenges it faces and has seen it grow?. Are You an Ideal Client for Incorporation Attorneys?. Our ideal clients are those people who are looking for a long-term relationship with a corporate lawyer who will know them as individuals and understand their particular company's nuances. One of our specialties is helping California startup companies, and smaller companies with just a few shareholders, to grow. This tends to make our relationships with our clients very personal.. In our advisory role as corporate attorneys, we get to work with a very diverse range of businesses. Some are local businesses to Orange County, Riverside and Los Angeles California; some are based in other States such as Delaware and Nevada. Some work across the state, and many have business interests nationally or even internationally.. Many are local brick and mortar small businesses such as medical practices; some are virtual internet based businesses. One thing our clients all have in common is that they are usually entrepreneurial in disposition and in their aspirations.. Just this week we had the opportunity to deal with a company that makes custom-made brick for the exterior of houses, a company that imports plush children's toys, a commercial real estate company, a company that owns hotels throughout Los Angeles, and a company that specializes in creating videos for the Internet and Facebook. These are just a few of the hundreds of corporations that we have the good fortune to represent.. People who are starting a business or who are working hard to grow their businesses really are a lot of fun to work with. Legal issues, formalizing business processes and protecting assets can however be significant challenges that all entrepreneurs grudgingly face. Legal issues in particular can feel like very negative aspects of real world business life. Helping our clients avoid legal problems or if necessary helping them to deal with them as effectively as possible, is extremely rewarding for us.. Helping people start a new business life or assisting a client negotiate the complexities of a business deal can be a pivotal moment to their future security and, if done right, can turn into extremely rewarding ventures. Ultimately, these activities generally involve helping our clients in making and hanging onto a lot of money for themselves and their families.. We Are Not a Quasi-Legal Form Filling Service. We do not aim our services at people who want to start a company as cheaply as possible and be ignored from then on. In our experience, those businesses more often than not are the ones that fail in short order anyway.. If we were to sum up our business mantra in as short a form as possible it would be: to help serious business people achieve serious success in their lives. Only when that happens is our role as long term relationship corporate attorneys really rewarding.. Incorporation Attorneys in Orange California. Todd Spitzer is one of California's leading crime victim advocates and one of a select few of attorneys who specialize in victims’ rights representation. He is the recipient of the Crime Survivors Victim Advocate Lifetime Achievement Award. He has more than two decades of experience in the criminal justice system. His breadth of experiences being a prosecutor, legislator and police officer is unmatched in the field of victim advocacy.. As an Assistant District Attorney in the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Spitzer handled complex criminal matters and supervised line prosecutors. He has prosecuted serious felonies including attempted murder, attempted rape, kidnapping, robbery, extortion and reckless driving causing serious bodily injury and death. Spitzer has tried nearly 100 jury trials to verdict. His years of courtroom experience gave him the opportunity to train and develop the skills of other deputy district attorneys.. Spitzer joined the Orange County DA's Office in 1990 as a newly admitted lawyer to the California Bar. During his first stint in the DA's Office (1990-1997) Spitzer quickly earned a reputation as an aggressive and well-prepared trial lawyer who had a special sensitivity and compassion for victims. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers honored Spitzer with its Outstanding Prosecutor Award. Spitzer's colleagues voted him the offices’ Outstanding Prosecutor as well. In one of Todd's earliest evaluations his supervisor wrote: "The intensity he displays is clearly the product of his enthusiasm and his desire to perform well for the benefit of those he serves. He remains an aggressive and enthusiastic prosecutor who will do whatever it takes to get the job done and to get it done right.". In 1994 Spitzer was elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors. During his tenure he continued to champion public safety and was asked by crime victim Bruce Harrington, whose sister and brother in law were murdered, to serve as state-wide Co-Chair of Proposition 69, the DNA Initiative. Today, every felony arrestee in California must submit DNA to a state database which has resulted in unresolved crimes being re-investigated and many murderers brought to justice.. In 2002, Spitzer was recruited to run for the 71st District in the State Assembly, was swept into office and was re-elected to two additional terms by large margins. Spitzer quickly became an expert on Public Safety issues and was named by the Assembly Speaker as Chairman of the Select Committee on Prison Construction and Operations. Spitzer also served in the Legislature as Chief Whip, the key spokesman for public policy issues on the floor of the house for his Party.. On August 24th, 2004, the California Governor signed Spitzer's landmark legislation, AB 488 (Parra / Spitzer), which put Megan's Law on the Internet. Spitzer was also picked to Co-Chair the first-ever High-Risk Sex Offender and Sexually Violent Predator Task Force. The Governor praised Spitzer, saying: "Your hard work and dedication to this topic are a testament to your commitment to the public safety of all Californians." This work led to the Governor signing Spitzer's legislation, AB 1015, (Chu / Spitzer) to create a Sex Offender Management Board in California to create policy to manage California's more than 100,000 convicted sex offenders.. Spitzer has led several statewide Initiative campaigns. In November 2004, he became the driving force behind two important law enforcement measures, serving as statewide Co-chair for Proposition 69, the DNA Fingerprint Initiative, which was passed by 61.8% of voters. Additionally, Assemblyman Spitzer became a statewide spokesperson for the No on Proposition 66 campaign and also served as its Orange County Chair. Considered one of the greatest turnarounds in California history, Proposition 66 was defeated 46.6% to 53.4%; the initiative at one point had approximately 65% voter approval. The defeat of Proposition 66, due largely to the involvement of Dr. Henry T. Nicholas III, co-founder of Broadcom Corp., ensured that approximately 26,000 serious and violent criminals remain behind bars. In 2008, Dr. Nicholas recruited Spitzer to be the State-Wide Chair & Campaign Manager of Prop 9, "Marsy’s Law", named after Dr. Nicholas' sister, Marsy, who was murdered by an estranged ex-boyfriend in 1983. California voters approved Proposition 9, the most comprehensive Victims' Rights measure in the nation by 54% of the vote, despite widespread opposition from all of California’s major newspaper editorial boards.
The law is my second profession.. Up until 2014, I worked as a classroom educator. While working as a teacher I decided to pursue a law degree with an eye towards working with families in ways outside of the classroom.. I accepted a partial scholarship to Western State University College of Law. By the end of my program, I graduated 3rd in my class and I received two witkin awards for top student. I received these top honors while working 60 hours a week as a classroom educator. At that time my school, Los Alamitos Elementary, had some of the biggest gains in standardized test scores and was recognized as a state ranked 10/10 school.. I passed the bar the first time and opted to go from the classroom to the courthouse by running my own legal business.. My skills in organizing, collaboration, communication, and documentation carry over well to the practice of law.. Along with the practice of law, I have several hobbies including (1) social dancing West Coast Swing, Salsa, and Argentine Tango, (2) practicing t'ai chi and other martial arts, and (3) hiking and rock climbing.. I live for challenges, personal growth, and creativity.
Simon Budhwani is the managing partner at Core Law Group, LLP, a six attorney family law firm practicing in the areas of divorce, domestic violence, custody, support, paternity, property division and nuptial agreements. Mr. Budhwani is well recognized in the legal community and has been awarded numerous accolades, including, being awarded the 2016 , 2017 and 2018 Super Lawyer Rising Star Awards, the 2015 NAFLA Top Ten Under 40 Award, the 2014 Orange County Metro Magazine Top Lawyer Award, and has been seen on Nancy Grace for his role in the Real Housewives of Orange County custody battle.. Mr. Budhwani does not shy away from a challenge. He prides himself in taking and winning difficult cases in the family law. He lives by two mottos when practicing law: 1) he (Simon) who knows his case file best usually wins, and 2) one must obtain leverage over their opponent.. These two philosophies have been the foundation of Mr. Budhwani success. A client can be assured that when working on his or her case Mr. Budhwani will know the file and facts of the case better than not only the other attorney, but often the client themselves. Doing so not only gives Mr. Budhwani an advantage over opposing attorneys in family cases, it also builds immediate rapport with the Judge hearing the case. When the court asks a question Mr. Budhwani usually has the answer while the other attorney is stumbling through his or her file.. Leverage is also a fundamental principle in Mr. Budhwani’s legal practice. He believes the outcome of all cases, whether big or small, depends on which side obtains and maintains leverage throughout the case. Mr. Budhwani believes that it is his responsibility to sway the power of leverage to his clients benefit. Surprisingly, there is no secret to obtaining and maintaining leverage: One must put in the work and make the other side work. File the necessary legal motions to win the case. The key is to out smart and out work the other side until the case is won or the client obtains a favorable settlement.. These are simple but overlooked philosophies forgotten by opposing attorneys. Mr. Budhwani does not shy away from taking advantage of such shortcomings on the other side. It is the recipe for winning and in litigation Mr. Budhwani’s clients hire him to do just that, win.. Mr. Budhwani is a recognized scholar earning Dean’s List & Amjur recognition. He was an editor of the Journal of Juvenile law and is a published author. He has served on the national level as a Sub-Committee Chair for the American Bar Association and locally with the Orange County Bar Association.. In his personal life Mr. Budhwani was once an amateur boxer fighting in the super fly weight division. He has a passion for cooking, so long as it comes out of a box and has written instructions. He is deathly afraid of snakes and See's Candies Stores (they remind him of hospitals).

Orange County's Premier Criminal Defense Attorney. Consistently named on the Super Lawyers' Southern California Rising Stars List, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys who exhibit excellence in practice and the National Trial Association's prestigious Top 40 Under 40 list.. Neeraj began his legal career through opportunities to work with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, the Orange County Superior Court, and the United States Department of Justice.. But Neeraj's interest in the law goes back to high school when a friend from a less affluent background was charged with selling drugs. The friend had been putting the money he made from drug sales into his father's wallet at night.. “No one should be defined by the fact that he was once in handcuffs,” Neeraj says. “My friend got kicked out of school. It changed his life.”. Neeraj is now able to fight for the rights of other good people whose lives have been impacted by criminal charges, such as a single mother with a disabled son who lost her job after being charged with theft.. The mother, a nurse by profession, would leave the house every day pretending to go to work so as not to cause her son distress. In actuality, she was volunteering with a local food bank, which also kept her family fed.. By conducting his own investigation, Neeraj was able to establish his client's innocence. The D.A.'s office dropped the case and the client was able to resume her career helping others.. In his free time, Neeraj volunteers for the California Innocence Project, an organization dedicated to releasing wrongfully convicted inmates.. When not practicing law, he enjoys going to Disneyland with his wife and cooking (the spicier the better!). Neeraj is also a passionate fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, and was featured in the Orange County Register for winning "Fan of the Game" in the 2010 Finals against the Boston Celtics.
Omar Ortega began his legal career in New York in the 1990s with a vision of becoming the go-to attorney for a variety of legal matters in his community. Initially drawn to the idea of a traditional storefront office where he could assist locals with wills, contracts, leases, and lawsuits, Omar soon discovered his passion for Disability Law. Through his experiences as a lawyer, he realized the value of focusing his efforts and skills in a specific area of the law rather than maintaining a general practice. This shift in focus allowed Omar to develop a deep understanding of Disability Law, providing him with a competitive edge in this field. Today, Omar Ortega is dedicated to serving clients facing legal challenges related to disabilities, leveraging his knowledge and experience to advocate on their behalf.
