During his undergraduate career, Jonathan marched for four seasons with the Million Dollar Band. In his senior year, he was given the Chris Hainsey Ultimate Team Player Award for his leadership and commitment to the organization.. Jonathan received his law degree and a certificate in public interest law from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, he clerked for public defender offices at both the state and federal level. It was here that he found a passion for public service and the protection of individual rights and liberties.
