Born in New York, Teri has lived in Arizona since 1993. After graduating from the University of Arizona with degrees in Physics and Astronomy, she worked as a Systems Engineer for Raytheon in Tucson. Eventually, Teri found that engineering work didn’t satisfy her need to connect with people and to try to improve the lives of others. She took a job as a paralegal at a personal injury firm to get some exposure to the practice of law, and discovered that she found the work very fulfilling. Teri then went on to attend law school at Arizona State University, where she was a senior editor of Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science and Technology, and also held positions in the Student Bar Association. Upon admission to the bar, Teri immediately began a career focused on representing those injured and victimized by others.. Like the other lawyers at our firm, Teri is not afraid to try a case if that’s what it takes to get justice for clients. She has litigated cases involving nursing home abuse and neglect and medical malpractice, as well as construction site injuries, tractor-trailers, pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, assaults, premises liability claims, and claims against government entities and schools, and has tried both jury and bench trials to verdict. She has achieved excellent results for her clients, and is proud of the gratitude and loyalty those clients have expressed.. Teri has not completely left her prior career as an engineer behind. Her engineering background is extremely helpful in developing an understanding of accident dynamics in cases involving motor vehicles, tractor-trailers, and motorcycles, for example. It can be very useful in some medical negligence claims, as well. And, in our elder abuse cases, we often need to employ math and engineering principles to analyze the biomechanics of injuries to our clients. Teri is uniquely skilled to combine a thorough understanding of the physics involved in these claims with the ability to apply the law to the facts. She is able to make good use of her science-focused education in her greater career objective – to hold defendants accountable for the loss and injury they cause.

Born and raised in Arizona, I grew up loving the practice of law. There is something about the competitive nature of law that really excites me. And, criminal defense is always a challenge. Walking out of court with the client's appreciation for the hard work put into his case is the best feeling.. I have 3 children, one grandson. I have retired from officiating high school and youth football, basketball and baseball. My football and baseball ended after 15 years when the demands of my practice just took too much time. I went 29 years in football. But with three knee injuries in my last 5 years of officiating, I had to retire in 2019.. When not practicing law, I try to practice magic.... still not great at it, but trying. And, I have recently taken up billiards.. Getting older means taking those steps to remain physically and mentally healthy. I work out most days. I just recently competed a personal challenge of doing 100 burpees a day for 30 days. Never had done them in earnest before. They kicked my behind. But amazingly, I will never stop doing them. Wonderful exercise.. I am constantly reading to keep my mind engaged.. Since August of 2021, I have published a daily motivational email to a growing list of subscribers. It started as a way for me to stay positive during some tough times, but I realized others could use the same motivation.. I am competitive... doesn't matter the activity. I don't like to lose.. I work hard. When I finally get some downtime, it is to travel and spend quality time with family and friends. With my wife of 20 years, we have agreed that when we travel, our goal is to find a unique restaurant in a new city to give a try. Not really a foodie, but whether it is a revolving restaurant at the top of building, or a restaurant in a cave, we just wanted to try something unique.

Not only are you injured, but likely your car has been damaged and may not even be operable. That certainly makes it difficult to get to your doctors’ appointments!. We understand that you will need transportation to those appointments, so our first priority is to get you mobile; whether that is with a rental car or resolving your property damage claim so you can get your car back into road worthy condition. We do not stop there. We will make sure that if you are not able to get a rental car, that you are compensated by the day for time that you are without a usable vehicle. If your vehicle gets repaired, but has lost value, we will pursue that claim on your behalf as well.. All of the work done on your property damage claim is on-the-house. Our philosophy is that it can only help improve your recovery.
