While in law school, I clerked at two law firms that practiced commercial litigation, real estate, collections, and minority-ownership oppression lawsuits. There, I learned valuable legal experience by filing legal documents in Court, the Cook County Assessor’s Office, and Cook County Recorder of Deeds.. I am a certified mediator for the Center of Conflict Resolution in Chicago. As a legal intern for the Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Legal Clinic, I was able to mediate real parties’ disputes in small claims court. Meditating disputes, taught me to identify opposing parties’ needs and interests in a short amount of time, demonstrating my ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and work under pressure while focusing on steering the hostile parties into negotiation and ultimately an agreement..
