Jennifer is a partner at Larsen, Edlund, and Ernest, PC. A graduate of Loyola University School of Law, she was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1999. Jennifer was admitted as a member of the bar for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, in 1999; U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit, in 2001; and the United States Supreme Court in 2003. Jennifer is also Certified as a Mediator for Family Law matters.

I received my  undergraduate degree with honors from Northwestern University and mt  law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law (1973). I have served as Managing Partner of the firm. I am an accomplished litigator with an emphasis in construction law, including mechanic's lien and construction contract litigation. Among my numerous builder and contractor clients are the largest roofing contractor in the Chicago area and the largest design build landscape company in the country. I have  represented the Adler Planetarium in construction arbitration. I also have  expertise and broad experience in zoning and land use development law. I have written for the Illinois Bar Journal on zoning and land use matters and speak for the National Business Institute and Lorman Educational Services on real estate and zoning issues. I am  a past member of the Palatine Zoning Board of Appeals and served as Chairman of the Kildeer Plan Commission. I  served as a trustee for the Village of Kildeer and Chairman of its Building and Zoning Committee. I was theMayor of the Village of Kildeer from 2001 to 2009.
