He attended McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois, on a debate and academic scholarship; was a nationally ranked competitive debater; and, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree, having triple-majored in Philosophy, Speech Communication, and Political Science. He was honored upon his graduation as Illinois’ Speech and Theater Collegiate Student of the Year and presented with departmental honors in both Philosophy and Speech Communication. Thereafter, Mr. Kaffer moved to St. Louis, Missouri to attend Washington University School of Law. While at Washington University, he participated in Moot Court and was awarded for Excellence in Oral Advocacy. He also trained in alternative dispute resolution and mediation. Upon graduation, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2004.
