Caleb is as Arizona as they come. Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, Caleb is a proud Westwood High and Arizona State University Alumnus (just like his mother). While in high school, Caleb participated in cross country, basketball, pole vaulting, math club, orchestra, choir and musicals. This variety of interests allowed him to gain an appreciation for every person’s unique interests, problems, and perspectives. Understanding how to listen to every person’s point of view has transitioned to his law practice as Caleb is able to better focus on his clients’ issues and work towards the best possible solution on their behalf. Caleb grew up attending ASU baseball games and rooting for the other Valley sports teams his whole life. After high school, Caleb was honored to serve a two-year mission in Colombia. There he grew to love serving the vibrant people of Colombia, including building homes in the community. After returning from Colombia, Caleb completed his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate at ASU. While in law school, Caleb’s favorite classes were trial advocacy, a fondness that would motivate him to pursue a career in family law. This love would transition in to his family law practice, where achieving excellent results for his clients is his daily inspiration.. The joy of helping others is what drives Caleb’s pursuit of excellence, both in and out of the courtroom. Focusing on achieving the best possible results for his clients, Caleb excels in developing and maintaining friendly relationships with all parties during the course of a case. Caleb utilizes daily the philosophy that a spoonful of honey is more persuasive – and efficient! – than a gallon of vinegar. Clients, Judges and opposing counsel alike all benefit from his warm candor and high spirits. Much like his time on the stage during the 10+ musicals he performed in growing up, Caleb loves the spotlight of Courtroom. Caleb tirelessly prepares for trials and hearings and the moment is never too big for him to deliver exactly what his clients need in front of the Judge. Covering hundreds of hearings and thirty plus bench trials during his combined time as an Arizona Assistant Attorney General and as a Family Law Attorney, Caleb loves being in the courtroom and the exciting challenge of litigation. Caleb takes pride in his Arizona roots and deeply loves the beautiful people and state of Arizona. He is married to the love of his life – also an Arizona native – and has two children. Brian practices exclusively family law and has significant experience navigating complex legal decision-making, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and property and debt division issues for his clients. He is well versed in high conflict marital dissolution matters, paternity cases, and post-decree disputes and is a skilled trial attorney. However, Brian believes the most effective and efficient way to resolve family law matters is via mediation or alternative dispute resolution, and he values the art of negotiation to best serve his clients. Brian currently serves as an adjunct professor at the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University teaching Family Law to JD students.

Brett Donaldson’s civil practice is primarily focused in the areas of claims and defenses involving motor vehicle collisions, insurance defense/special investigation/fraud and also in areas of contracted agreements.  Mr. Donaldson has extensive trial experience and has tried more than 60 jury trials to date with excellent results for his clients who are both individual and corporate clients.. In addition to his civil practice, Brett T. Donaldson practices in the area of criminal defense.  He has tried dozens of serious felony cases, and has extensive trial experience in both non-jury trials and other criminal defense matters.  Mr. Donaldson previously served as a Deputy County Attorney with the Maricopa County Prosecutor’s Office and was assigned to the Family Violence Bureau in the Major Crimes Division.  Mr. Donaldson’s recent experience in criminal matters includes:. Before becoming a prosecutor, Mr. Donaldson served as a sworn police officer in southern California and graduated number one in his police academy.  Mr. Donaldson’s experience as a police officer allows for additional insight in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the police investigation.. Mr. Donaldson effectively plans and executes trial strategies and utilizes strong negotiation skills to obtain pre-trial resolutions.  While an early dismissal is certainly desirable, he will not hesitate to go to trial to get the best results for his clients..
