Will Harrison was born and raised in Florida. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he majored in philosophy with a minor in psychology. This choice of curriculum was based on Will’s affinity for logic and his desire to achieve a deep understanding of human nature. The knowledge that he acquired during his time at USF informs his approach to family law practice to this day.. After graduating with honors from USF, Will moved to Temecula, California to get married and start a life together with his wife. He spent a few years working in commission sales, which honed his capacity for persuasion and motivated him to learn how to interact with and relate to people from all walks of life. However, Will knew that his dream since childhood was to become an attorney. Thus, after acclimating to his new life thousands of miles away from where he grew up, he knew it was time to realize that dream. To that end, Will accepted an offer of admission with a generous scholarship to the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During his last semester, he worked as an extern for a Phoenix insurance defense firm. While at ASU, Will dedicated himself to learning as much as he could from the school’s extraordinarily knowledgeable professors. This included taking a course in family law taught by Judge Bruce Cohen, Presiding Judge of the Family Department of the Maricopa County Superior Court and one of Will’s favorite professors.. After earning his Juris Doctor degree, Will worked for a firm in Mesa. He initially worked as a criminal law clerk, but eventually transferred to the family law department. After working on family law cases and communicating with family law clients, Will knew that he found a practice area to which he could dedicate his legal career. His exposure to criminal law gave him valuable experience to prepare him for cases wherein the two practice areas intersect. However, through the time he spent working with family law clients, he found his most powerful source of motivation: his passion for guiding clients through the most tumultuous time of their lives.. That passion led Will to join Cantor Law Group, where providing clients with that guidance is central to the firm’s mission. Will thrives on complexity, whether that complexity derives from issues of property division, custody, or both. He dedicates himself to outsmarting and outworking the other side. At the same time, Will understands the emotional nuances of a family law matter and always keeps that in mind when interacting with and fighting for his clients.. In his free time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife, their dog Penny, and their cat Mooze.
When representing my family law clients, my goal is to achieve the best possible results so that they can move on to the next phase of their lives with a plan and the support they need. Whenever possible, I prefer to resolve issues without litigation, because it is less expensive and less disruptive. Sometimes, however, litigation is necessary to achieve a client’s goals and objectives. In those cases, I have the skills, the experience, the team, and the resources at my disposal to accomplish my clients’ goals. My experience spans a broad range of family law issues, including unique custody, real estate, business valuation, and complex financial issues. We have cultivated a network of professionals, including tax, financial, real estate, business valuation, and mental health professionals who work together with me to assist my clients in every area of their lives as they move through this significant life transition.. I also take great pride in using my interpersonal skills to help make the family court process less stressful for my clients. I coach and support my clients through the ups, the downs, and the uncertainties of the process, of which there will be many. I do not paint a rosy picture for my clients when it is not based in fact. I do not withhold information from my clients that I know will upset them. I tell my clients like it is and provide well-thought-out options regarding how to respond, react, and get ahead of whatever is thrown our way.. I began my legal practice in New York City where I practiced complex commercial and real estate litigation. I eventually realized that my personal skills could be better utilized in a more individual client-focused practice, which is when I discovered family law and Jaburg Wilk. Now, I have the privilege of making a life-changing difference for my clients every time I pick up the phone, step into the office, or walk into a courtroom. I love what I do.

Unlike other attorneys, my number one goal is to try and settle every case that comes across my desk. I'm passionate about finding extremely creative solutions to seemingly impossible scenarios. In the same breath, I know that settlement is not always realistic or possible and when it's not, I am a strong and worthy advocate for you in the courtroom.. I incorporate my knowledge and expertise of the law and judicial system with my own life experiences and I understand how personal each and every situation is, especially when it involves family. I do my best to be sensitive to each client's unique set of facts and events, instead of simply viewing them as just another case number.. In other words, I treat you like I'd like my own family to be treated by an attorney: with respect, understanding and consummate professionalism.. In my personal life, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing games (I am highly competitive!), relaxing with family and friends and trying to keep my girls active and busy in the mornings and ready for a good nap in the afternoon.. I grew up in Minnesota and still have family that resides there, so I frequently head back for visits, although I try to avoid the winters at all costs!. I look forward to working with you. Together, I am confidant that we can navigate successfully through your case.
