Kevin Lindsley began his legal career clerking for a Superior Court Judge in Santa Barbara, California.  There, he developed a passion for the criminal justice system and gained invaluable insight into the judicial decision making process.  While studying the law, Kevin worked at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, the Alameda County District Attorney's Office and the United States Attorney's Office in San Francisco.  At these prosecutors' offices, he handled criminal cases ranging from DUI to felony narcotics crimes and tried his first case to verdict in Federal District Court, all while still in law school.  Kevin graduated with honors from the prestigious University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he earned several academic awards recognizing his skill in criminal trial and appellate advocacy.  After receiving his law degree, Kevin worked at the San Diego District Attorney's Office in the Appellate Division, handling writs, appeals, and petitions for inmates challenging their 25 to life prison sentences under the California "Three Strikes" Law.  He then started his own law practice, which focuses exclusively on criminal defense and writs & appeals.

My clients are my priority.  I take the time to thorougly investigate all aspects of their cases.  I make myslf available to keep my clients in the loop about what is happening with their cases.. I have been trained in operation of the breath machines and have done hands on labratory training in the analysis of blood for alcohol and drugs.  I've completed the same Field Sobriety Training course as the police officers.  Knowldge and training in these areas greatly assist my clients in their defense.. I am the Past President and Specialist member of the California DUI Lawyers Association. I am a Regent, sustaining member and Faculty Member of the National College of DUI Defense.. I have conducted trainng sessions for the Alameda County Bar Association, the Public Defender's offices in Alameda and San Francisco.  I have lectured at the Mastering Scientific Evidence Conference for the National College of DUI Defense on Blood Testing Errors and Medical Interactions with Alcohol Absorption and Elimination, Ethics and Diversity.  I continue to teach continuing education for attorneys and learn from others in my field..
