Mr. George enjoys amateur photography and submits his photographs regularly to various contests. He views photography much like law. In photography, it is important to have the right settings to ensure that the correct amount of light is on the subject. It does not really matter if the subject of the photograph is backlit or in the shadow, the right settings can be found and a good picture obtained.. When it comes to law and clients, Mr. George uses the same approach. There is almost always a way of obtaining a favorable outcome for the client if the right rules are applied. This sometimes takes time and energy, but the results are worth it. The client can expect that his or her problem will be solved in a way that achieves their goal.. Mr. George received his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University receiving a B.S. in 1996. He obtained his legal education from the University of Idaho College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, in 1999. Prior to joining the firm of Racine Olson in 2001, Mr. George clerked for the Honorable James J. May in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Joel was born and raised in Aberdeen, Idaho and educated at the University of Utah (’98) with a degree in Communication with a Minor in Spanish. Upon graduating from the University of Idaho College of Law (’02), he returned home to Southeast Idaho. His respected career has enabled him to serve on the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association board of directors, Sixth District Magistrate Commission for Idaho State Bar and the American Falls School Board. He was recognized in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Idaho. In addition to being a husband and father of four, Joel speaks fluent Spanish and loves hunting, fly fishing, reading, attending sporting events and dabbles in Drone Photography.

I am a native of Pocatello, Idaho. I am an Iraq War veteran who served with HHB 1/148th Field Artillery Battalion of the Idaho National Guard. After a tour in Iraq, I pursued my college education at Idaho State University and later transferred to Weber State where I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science.. I attended law school at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated cum laude in 2013.. While in law school, I worked as a certified student attorney for the Ramsey County Attorney's Office. Working in the child support enforcement division, I handled over 500 child support establishment, paternity, and divorce hearings. After graduating law school and returning to Pocatello, I clerked for the Honorable David C. Nye in the Sixth Judicial District.. My practice includes the areas of insurance defense, business law, contracts, personal injury litigation, estate planning, and property law. He is a trained Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and provides free legal representation to CASA volunteers that advocate for abused and neglected children.
