My father, Lane J. Wolfley, opened his law practice in 1979. My brother, Joseph, joined him in 2011.  I, Kenneth Wolfley, am pleased to announce that I will be joining them in the family law firm.  My practice will focus on the areas of Federal, State, and Local Tax Law, Estate Planning, and Business Law.. Before law school, I was a construction management professional. I was a key member of a team charged with assuring that projects finish on time and on budget. I assured that construction accurately reflected the design and specifications.. After working in the construction industry, I decided to attend Willamette University College of Law so I could put my construction and legal skills to work as an advisor for construction companies. The time I have spent earning my Juris Doctorate, Certificate of Business Law, and LLM in Taxation confirms this desire, but I want to do more to assist businesses in my community.. I can prove useful to a person or entity that needs to defend itself on a tax-related issue. Whether a client is bringing a case against or are be audited by the IRS or Wash. Dept. of Rev., I can handle the legal tax challenges.  Some common reasons for the IRS to audit are: failure to report income, under reporting income, failure to file return, and failure to pay tax due.. I do not recommend facing either the IRS or Wash. Dept. of Rev. alone.  Audits start usually with a narrow focus, but the wrong thing said or too much information provided can lead authorities to expand their search.  I can help.

Mr. Wolfley graduation from Port Angeles High School in 1971. He later attended the University of Washington graduating  in 1976, Magna Cum Laude in Philosophy.  He earned his Juris Doctorate at Brigham Young University School of Law in 1979

I graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1996, and Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2003 (majoring in Music Performance and French).  I earned a Masters Degree in Musicology from Northwester University in 2004.. I spent the next few years as a Profeessor of Music History and Music Appreciation at South Utah University in Ceder City before attending law school.. I graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2011 and joined my father's law firm in Port Angeles. I currently practice with my father and my younger brother who recently joined the firm.

Derek G. Medina, attorney at law, received his law degree (Juris Doctorate) from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2000 and his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado with a double major in Political Science and International Affairs (with distinction), Phi Beta Kappa.. He is active in his community and has participated in the University of Colorado Legal Aid and Defender Program as well as the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinic (East Side).  In 2001, he participated in the Washington State Bar Association's Law Day working with young students at a local Bellevue school.. Derek was born in Trinidad, Colorado and moved to Washington state for the first time in 1983.  He fell in love with the area and its people.  After moving back to Colorado during his high school and college years, he has returned and taken up residence in Port Angeles.

Allison Mahaney grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. After graduation, Allison went to work on the NOAA Ship Fairweather based out of Ketchikan, Alaska. On board the Fairweather, Allison served as an Officer of the Deck and managed hydrographic surveys to support the vessel’s nautical charting mission. At the end of her scheduled tour, Allison transferred to Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary where she served as Operations Coordinator from 2007 to 2010. While at the sanctuary, Allison enjoyed working on Washington's outer coast onboard the R/V Tatoosh. During their time in Port Angeles, she and her family loved life on the Olympic Peninsula and always hoped to return. After leaving NOAA, Allison attended law school at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. During her time there, Allison worked as an intern at the Port of Portland and the Eighth Coast Guard District Legal Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. Allison graduated from law school with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. She and her family returned to Port Angeles in 2015 at which time she joined a local law firm as an associate attorney. In October 2017, Allison opened Waypoint Law Office in Port Angeles where she has a civil law practice consisting primarily of real estate law, landlord-tenant law, probate, estate planning, and litigation matters.
