Vigdis Bronder at Catalyst Law represents clients in a range of industries, with particular emphasis on intellectual property and technology issues and contracts. After working at a Top 10 law firm in New York City in their Technology & Intellectual Property Transactions Group, Vigdis served as in-house counsel at NBCUniversal Media, LLC and Weight Watchers International, Inc. Vigdis graduated from Columbia Law School in 2007, winning the Carroll G. Harper Prize. Vigdis is admitted to the Oregon and New York State Bar and has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including media, consumer products, food and beverage, fashion, sports, technology services, financial services, pharmaceuticals, etc. Vigdis even co-founded a start up company, so she has experienced first hand the ups, downs, urgent needs and other joys of entrepreneurship.

I grew up in the Denver Colorado area, and was active in outdoor activities.   I moved to the Portland area to attend law school and because of the great outdoor and natural beauty of the Northwest, I made the area my home.  i am active in skiing and biking and other sporting events every chance I get, as it renews my zest for life and my energy for work.. I take get joy and pride helping individuals and small business in a variety of areas where they may need help and my legal expertise and experience gained after practing law for over 39 years.

It is important to work with an experienced family law attorney; someone who can provide you with the information and support you need to make the right choices. I limit my practice to family law matters, and have years of experience dealing with many complicated issues.  My assistant and I have worked as a team since 1990, and work to ensure that our clients have the support and information they need to navigate through the process.

C.J. brings a deliberate focus to listening and understanding his client’s goals and concerns. Recognizing that clients seek counsel for a myriad of reasons, he works through each situation uniquely. He advocates for and reassure his clients, addresses their financial concerns, and protects their interests. C.J. recently received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark, where he earned academic honors. Prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland, with a double major in English and Psychology. When he’s not working, you’ll often find him running trails throughout Portland, working out at the gym, exploring new restaurants, or indulging in his two vices: drinking coffee at one of the local coffee roasters and reading a book from his wide-ranging collection.
