Tyler J. Storti is a member of Stewart Sokol & Larkin LLC, having joined the firm in 2004. His practice focuses on the areas of construction law, business and commercial matters, and real estate transactions and disputes.  He represents contractors, owners, sureties and design professionals in disputes and litigation related to the construction industry, including contract negotiation and drafting, payment and performance claims, construction liens and bond claims.  He also regularly represents and advises individuals and businesses in connection with a diverse array of business, commercial and real estate transactions, disputes and litigation. McLaughlin, District Judge for the Fourth Judicial District of the State of Idaho. During law school, he spent a summer as a law clerk for a small plaintiff's firm and was later employed in the corporate legal department of the J.R. Simplot Company.. A native of Boise, Idaho, Tyler has called Oregon home since relocating to the Northwest from New Orleans, where he attended college at Tulane University. He enjoys playing golf and basketball, exploring the outdoors, experiencing live music, travel and spending time with his family and friends. He is also involved in various community and charitable activities, including membership on the Ambassador Board for The First Tee of Greater Portland, which is an organization dedicated to promoting character development and life values in young people through the game of golf.

I  advise and represent project owners, designers, contractors and construction managers on all aspects of private and public construction and supply contracting. My practice includes drafting and negotiating construction and design contracts, assisting clients on day-to day project issues and dispute resolution, including mediation, domestic and international arbitration (including ICC) and litigation. I have prosecuted and defended a range of multimillion-dollar complex construction disputes involving contractor terminations, differing site conditions claims, delay and change order claims, design and construction defect litigation and lien claims. I counsel clients on procurement issues, including contract reviews, bid protests, navigating the FARs and local regulations unique to public contracting, and preparing claims including requests for equitable adjustment.
