I am a Nevada licensed attorney with over 10 years' experience in both state and federal court. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the Ohio State University and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.. I began my career with the Washoe County Public Defender's Office, Family Court Division. My love for family law blossomed from there. After serving as a Deputy Public Defender for several years, I relocated to California where I served as a Nevada staff attorney for both small and large law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. During my time in California, my family law work included extensive research on child support, equitable distribution of assets, financial planning, and projections in divorce cases, as well as, dealing with complex child custody and child support issues. In 2010, I returned to Reno, my childhood home. I currently focus my practice on family law as that is what I love to do. I have expended my practice to include estate planning and business law, not only to enhance my practice, but to also meet the growing needs of my clients.
