In law school I served on the Client Counseling & Negotiation Board, the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest, and and was selected as a teaching assistant in Legal Research and Writing.. I began my legal career as an associate attorney with Whitt & Del Bueno, a workers’ compensation and liability defense firm that represents many of Virginia’s largest employers and insurers. But representing insurance companies and employers who put profits over people was not how I wanted to spend my career. I also handle insurance coverage and first party claims and EUOs. Prior to joining Ford Richardson, I was in solo general practice for seven years, focusing on personal injury, workers' compensation, business law and litigation, employment law and criminal defense. I have been practicing law for almost 18 years. My career began in Virginia, where I practiced from 2000-2007, and 2010 to the present My main areas of practice have been workers compensation, and general liability.
