Rómulo Miguel Sauñe, who goes by either Romi or Rómulo, was born and raised in Peru and speaks Spanish fluently. Romi graduated magna cum laude from the University of La Verne in California with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. He also graduated cum laude with a Masters of Arts in International Relations from Norwich University in Vermont. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2013, where he was awarded the Irwin Stern Moise Award in Legal and Judicial Ethics.. Romi has been admitted to the New Mexico Bar, the Federal District Court for the District of New Mexico.  Prior to his legal career, Romi served in the United States Navy for 12 years. He also worked for over two years assisting victims of domestic violence and at-risk youth. During law school, Romi volunteered with Catholic Charities preparing U-Visa and VAWA petitions for immigrant survivors of domestic violence.. Michael grew up in San Antonio, Texas. Michael was awarded his Bachelor’s Degree from Trinity University with an emphasis in teaching political science. Out of college he began teaching at a Montessori School in San Antonio. While teaching in San Antonio he attained his Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. This background translates seamlessly into the legal world.. Michael met his wife Heather in San Antonio, who was from Albuquerque, and he followed her home. Once he moved to Albuquerque, Michael taught Humanities at Amy Biehl High School. While at Amy Biehl Michael was the first teacher from New Mexico selected for the Supreme Court StreetLaw Institute in Washington D.C. The Institute was created to aid and help teachers in communicating complex laws to students. At the StreetLaw Institute Michael’s passion for the law was re-ignited. The next year he applied and was accepted to the University Of New Mexico School Of Law.. Michael completed his J.D. in two-and-half years and graduated Order of the Coif and Magna Cum Laude. While in law school Michael was able to extern at the New Mexico Supreme Court and clerk with Montgomery & Andrews. Upon graduation, Michael began work at Guebert Bruckner P.C.. At Guebert Bruckner P.C. Michael gained experience and insight into how insurance companies and defense firms handle and treat cases. He also gained experience in handling Plaintiff’s claims for personal injuries, bad faith, and construction defects. This exposure allows Michael to view claims from the perspective of all parties and create a detailed litigation plan. His background in Educational Psychology and teaching give him the experience to communicate to clients and ensure they understand the specifics of their claim and all of their options.

Edward W. Lovato is a New Mexico native. After graduating from Rio Rancho High School, Edward joined the Marines and served 13 years on active duty in the enlisted and officer ranks, including tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Edward founded the Rio Rancho law firm of Lovato Law, P.C. in 2017 and he oversees a practice devoted to providing clients with the best in estate planning and elder law. Edward attended the University of New Mexico where he earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and his Juris Doctor (law) degrees.
