Joshua Brown was born in Virginia, but moved to Fort Mill, SC with his family when he was in the first grade. He graduated from Nation Ford High School in 2010. He graduated Cum Laude from Newberry College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He then received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2017 and was sworn in to the South Carolina State Bar.. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Roger E. Henderson in the Fourth Judicial Circuit. His clerkship gave him a unique insight into a judge’s thought process when making decisions in both Criminal and Civil law cases. His clerkship allowed him to travel to different counties all over the state to learn how solicitors and prosecutors approach cases, as well as what strategies are effective with both judges and juries.. In 2019, Joshua Brown joined the Public Defender’s Office in Florence County. During his time at the Public Defender’s Office, he handled cases ranging from shoplifting all the way up to murder. He also became very involved in the defense of juveniles. Working with juveniles that often came from lower income households and rough backgrounds, instilled in Josh the idea of what it truly means to be an advocate for one’s client. Being a public defender ingrained in him a drive that everyone deserves a lawyer that will fight for them.. A call to return home to York County found him joining MLB Law in the fall of 2022 as an associate attorney. At MLB Law, he continues to handle a variety of criminal cases, as well as some domestic and civil work. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, golfing, fishing, and is a diehard Carolina Panthers Fan. He is extremely appreciative to have the opportunity to help the fellow members of the community he has called home his whole life with any of their legal needs.

Denise Gregory earned a BA in English from Appalachian State University with a minor in African-American Studies. She is a member of The Order of Black & Gold where she served as Dean of Pledges and Historian. Other accomplishments include Dean’s List and Who’s Who awards.. Denise has also worked as a Financial Risk Consultant for 2 years in Risk Management, Control Management, performing RCSA, Risk Monitoring, and Control Management.. Denise now has her own firm where she practices Business, Trademark Prosecution, Criminal Defense, and Real Estate.
