My life outside of the law is consumed with my wife and seven children.  The oldest just graduated from high school and is now in Denmark for the next two years.  Since my interests are in hanging out with them, whatever interests they have naturally become my interests.  Lucky for me, they have good taste: soccer, running, rock climbing, kayaking, SUPs, hiking, slack-lining and family vacations.

I have been actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, receiving my Eagle Scout Award as a young man, and having more recently served in adult leadership capacities. I have rendered pro bono legal services for the indigent and elderly with Legal Services of Northern California. I am actively involved in my church and teach a daily Bible study course to local high school students.
