Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate law from the State Bar of California.  Less than 1% of all attorneys in California earn this specialist designation.  The greatest blessing in my career is helping people plan for their families and businesses.. I am a graduate of the University of California at Irvine and McGeorge School of Law (Concentration in Taxation). I was a tax senior in the legal department of Deloitte and Touche, LLP, before relocating back to Sacramento over 20 years ago. At Deloitte and Touche, I earned the Client Service Matrix Award for national acceptance of a creative tax strategy to be used nationwide for individual and corporate clients.. After returning to Sacramento, I worked as an attorney at McDonough, Holland and Allen, the second largest law firm in Sacramento at the time, before opening my own law office. I absolutely love having my own practice, which has grown over the years from referrals from satisfied clients. In addition to my own practice, I was an adjunct professor at McGeorge School of Law for four years. I am also an adjunct professor at MTI College in Sacramento, where I have taught Probate law and Administrative law.I am involved in the community as an active volunteer for the Sacramento Voluntary Services Program, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California. I am a former board member of: the Boys Team Charity of Granite Bay, Miracles Through Music and the Riverlake Community Association. I am a Board Member for the Sierra College Foundation and the Chair of their Planned Giving Committee.  I am on the advisory board for the Sacramento Bee SacMomsClub, and I am the past president of the Granite Bay Moms Club and a past member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council.. I am currently a member of the California Bar Association, and a former board member of the Probate and Estate Planning section of the Placer County Bar Assocation.. I look forward to having the opportunity to speak with you. Thank you for your consideration.

As long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to be an attorney. Some people find that odd since typically the word attorney does not convey positive thoughts. Attorneys are often portrayed as aggressive, deceitful, opportunistic, and focused only on money. That’s not who I am, and that’s not my motivation to practice law. I was fortunate to grow up in a family that taught me strong values and the benefits of hard work. My motivation to practice law is to help others overcome challenges in their lives and to protect their hard-earned property and assets. Sometimes these challenges require legal advice and direction, and that’s where I can help.. I am a life-long resident of Placer County. I graduated from Whitney High School and earned my undergraduate degree at UC Davis. I received my Juris Doctorate from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law and passed the California State Bar Exam. My law firm is located in Placer County and my goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of the members of my community. I bring a unique perspective as a person with empathy who will listen to you and endeavor to understand your situation. As a female attorney, I also offer the opportunity to provide legal help to clients who are more comfortable working with a woman. You will not feel intimidated by me, nor pressured or ignored. I want you to be comfortable – yet assured that your legal needs will be addressed and professionally administered. I began Your Property Law Firm with the goal of providing a unique personal experience for my clients. I hope you agree that I have accomplished that.
