I spent almost two years in Lumpkin, Towns, Union and White Counties defending people in Superior Court.  I defended people charged with simple misdemeanors, DUIs, drugs offenses, and serious felony matters.. After my time in Enotah I was recruited by the Public Defender's Office in the Northeastern Circuit.  I represented clients in that circuit for drug crimes, probation violations, felony matters, and misdeeanors.  During my time as a Assistant Public Defender I represented hundres of clients in all tyes of cases.  I was able to learn how to defend a case and I was able to help people at the same time.. I have now moved to private practice but I bring the same zeal and passion to criminal defense as I always have.  I am proud to help people during crisis, and helping people when they need it is as fufilling as ever.

Elizabeth A. Geoffroy received her Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University in 1985, and her Juris Doctor from Emory University   School of Law in 1988.   She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1988. Ms. Geoffroy served as a senior assistant public defender in Fulton County, defending indigent clients charged with serious felony offenses in both jury trials and appeals for ten years. In her years in private practice she has represented clients in both criminal and   civil cases throughout Georgia.   She has tried over 50 jury trials and has argued before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.Ms. Geoffroy's current practice includes defense of individuals charged with crimes, including DUI's, drug charges, other misdemeanors, and felonies; as well as representing injured victims in personal injury matters.
