I am a native of Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Penn State University in 1990. I then graduated from Ohio Northern School of Law in 1993.

Faith joined Swilling Family Law as an associate attorney in 2023. She graduated from Hofstra Law and began her career as a licensed attorney in Georgia practicing exclusively family law in 2020. As an attorney, Faith is passionate about helping her clients through tough situations. She is a strong advocate for her clients, recognizing the value of litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution. Faith has experience representing clients with complex custody issues, businesses, assets, and debts.. During law school, she gained valuable experience interning for the Honorable John “Trea” Pipkin in Henry County Superior Court. This internship allowed Faith to observe firsthand the troubles many parties face while navigating the divorce process. She also interned for a family law firm in the metro Atlanta area. While at Hofstra Law, she worked at the Youth Advocacy Clinic, representing immigrant children in family court to provide an opportunity for safe-haven, legal status, and reunification with family. She graduated from Hofstra Law with a concentration in family law and was awarded a Gold Public Service Certificate for completing over 750 hours of pro bono legal services. Don Weissman has focused on contested family law matters for over 40 years. He has published papers extensively in the field, has mentored and trained lawyers in the field and in civil litigation; is often associated or consulted by other lawyers in various aspects of family law practices and is an active participant in State, Local and National organizations devoted to improving skills in the presentation of civil cases, domestic and otherwise.. Alyssa earned her Juris Doctor and her Masters degree at Georgia State University. While in law school, Alyssa was an active member of the Family Law Society and served as a student member of the Welton Family Law Inn of Court. During an internship with a local family law attorney, Alyssa developed her passion for family law. During her third year of law school, Alyssa interned with the Honorable Jane C. Barwick of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Family Division, where she observed numerous court proceedings and conducted extensive and complex research on the subject of family law. Alyssa was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law in 2016.  Alyssa is, currently, a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and served on the Board for the Animal Law Section from 2018-2020.
