I have been practicing law since 1997 in Austin & Round Rock, with an emphasis on people and families, focusing principally on family law and divorce. I am Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.. Having gone through a divorce, and raising 2 children as a single mother, I founded my firm based on my personal philosophy: genuine empathy for men and women seeking help. I grew up in New Hampshire. I proudly served a four year tour of duty in the United States Navy, simultaneously putting myself through the University of Mississippi.  After graduating from college and leaving the Navy, I was a junior high school teacher. I then relocated to Albany, NY, and while raising my family there, became an entrepreneur, starting several small businesses, before deciding to go to law school, going heavily in debt to fund it..
