After completing my undergraduate degree, I headed west to attend Texas Tech University School of Law where I was the Editor in Chief of the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal and gained valuable experience while working in the school's Low-Income Tax Clinic. Additionally, I participated in the Wills for Heroes Pro Bono Clinic, which provides essential estate planning documents, free of charge, to our nation's first responders.. During law school, I spent a great deal of my time working for Judge William “Bill” Sowder in the 99th District Court, where I worked closely with the judge to better understand how he ruled on issues. This experience gave me a thorough understanding of civil law, in general, and helped me to become a better family law attorney.
