I am a criminal trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience.  I have defended death penalty cases and tried numerous murder cases and serious sex offenses.  I have represented clients throughout the State of Missouri and in federal district court in Missouri, Illinois, Alabama, and South Carolina.  I have argued cases before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.  I have submitted appellate briefs in the Fourth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.. Criminal defense has been Jen's passion since she was in college. She graduated magna cum laude from Bellarmine University with degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice Studies.. Through SLU’s Street Law Organization, she taught classes across St. Louis City at Confluence Academy, the Juvenile Justice Center, and the City Justice Center. She also volunteers with Criminal Justice Ministry, a local organization that supports and empowers individuals impacted by incarceration.
