While attending Law School, I served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kathleen P. March, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California, Los Angeles Division.  It was during my externship, that my interest in the debtor/creditor relationship and finding ways to resolve issues between the two first arose.  Since then, I have focused my practice solely on bankruptcy, insolvency, debt negotiation/settlement for both debtors and creditors.. I am admitted to practice before the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and have appeared before many of the Bankruptcy Judges in each District.  I have also successfully briefed and argued matters before the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.. I have been an attorney in Orange County for nearly 17 years.  I enjoy the practice of law and helping clients get through diificult legal problems.  I atttempt to resolve cases early, as I believe this is usually in the client's best interest.  However, I am ready and willing to take cases to trial if necessary.. I am an avid runner, and have completed many marathons, and 5Ks and 10Ks.  I am married and have a 2 year old son.

Christopher Langley is an attorney admitted to practice in both California and Georgia. He was admitted to the California bar in 2008 and received his legal specialization in bankruptcy in 2017.. Born in Whittier and the second of seven children, Chris’s father worked in IT and systems administration for New Line Cinema and his mother was an English teacher turned stay-at-home mom. After High School, Chris spent six years in the seminary, first in Monterrey, Mexico doing outreach work, with the final two years in Rome, Italy where he graduated magna cum laude from Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Athenaeum with a bachelors in Philosophy and a minor in Art History.
