I focus my legal practice on intellectual property litigation and pre-litigation disputes, intellectual property transactions, and the prosecution of trademark and copyright applications. I regularly counsel clients in a wide range of industries on all aspects of trademark, copyright, trade secret, advertising, and internet law and have represented them in courts throughout the United States and in the USPTO’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Before joining RM Warner, PLC, I was a partner at several Phoenix area law firms and was an associate attorney at an Am Law 200 law firm prior to that. Before attending law school, I was a television producer in Los Angeles.

I am an attorney who focuses on helping creators and business owners with their business and intellectual property needs. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex issues they will encounter. Prior to forming Sprowls Law, I served as director of legal affairs for a large national mail-order pharmacy and was an attorney at a firm focusing on healthcare transactions and regulation. I was also a Public Interest Fellow in the District of Columbia Attorney General’s Public Advocacy Section where I worked with senior attorneys to best protect District citizens. Additionally, I was an adjunct professor who taught communications law and ethics to undergraduate students. I also spent several years in Los Angeles as a talent agent assistant.. I grew up outside of Pittsburgh and earned my B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh during which time I also studied abroad at Oxford University. I earned my J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center with a semester abroad at the National University of Singapore. I live in Scottsdale and enjoy traveling, video games, and reading the news. I have visited five continents with a dream of seeing all seven.

I have developed curriculum for and teach courses in Comprehensive Patent Practice, Patent Drafting, Patent Law, and Patent Licensing & Enforcement.

Farley Weiss, a partner based in
the firm's Scottsdale office and head of the firm's
trademark and copyright group, has practiced intellectual
property law since 1990. Mr. Weiss has significant
experience handling trademark, service mark and copyright
applications, license agreements, renewals, statements of
usage, amendments and infringement matters. Mr. Weiss has
filed more than 1,000 trademark, service mark and
copyright applications. In 1988, Mr. Weiss served as a law
clerk for Justice Menachem Elon, who at the time was the
Vice President of the Supreme Court of Israel. Prior to his career in law, Mr. Weiss played professional
tennis and achieved a world ranking of 713 in singles and
736 in doubles through tournaments played in the U.S.,
Finland and Spain. As a nationally ranked junior tennis
player, Mr. Weiss was a member of the winning Phoenix
Junior Davis Cup team for three consecutive years.
