Paul is a member of our firm’s Business, Licensing & Technology and Real Estate Groups. On a day-to-day basis, he provides the advice and services clients need to achieve their business goals. Paul’s focus is on business formations, business and real estate acquisitions and financings, and other commercial transactions. He represents both start-up businesses and established companies. Paul has considerable experience representing technology companies in venture capital financings, joint ventures, and licensing and marketing agreements. Paul is also experienced in the purchase and sale of dental and other professional practices.

Mick Fleming is Co-Chair of Lane Powell's Real Estate Litigation Practice Group and is a member of the Corporate Finance and Securities department.  He focuses his practice on complex dispute resolution and also handles a number of business mergers and acquisitions.  Mick has also worked on a number of complex real estate finance transactions.

Kathleen handles mergers and acquisitions, representing buyers and sellers in all types of equity and asset transfers. Kathleen works with businesses at all stages of the corporate lifecycle—formation, operation, management, and disposition. She advises on general corporate law and taxation matters, and assists with contract drafting and negotiation. Many of Kathleen’s clients use her as their outside general counsel. In addition to her M&A and business advisory practice, Kathleen works closely with family businesses, owners and executives on succession planning.

John practices in the firm’s Banking Services, Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy and Employment, Benefits & Labor Groups, and he has a strong transportation law practice. He frequently serves as an arbitrator on the Commercial Panel of the American Arbitration Association.. Recently John served on a panel of arbitrators in a $147 million commercial arbitration case. He has served as lead counsel for a trucking company in settling a wage-and-hour class action involving more than 150 owner-operators who alleged that they were employees.. John’s past experience includes obtaining a several- million dollar federal RICO civil judgment on behalf of a national client. He was also lead counsel in obtaining $2.9 million antitrust judgment in favor of a rural electric cooperative against Washington's largest electric utility.
