I spent my first several years out of college as an engineer working for the Boeing Company at Everett and Renton sites.  But I soon decided to change careers and enrolled in the evening law program at Seattle University School of Law, while still working at Boeing.  While in law school I had the opportunity to work in the Ronald E. Peterson Bankruptcy Clinic, which provided me experience in bankruptcy law.  My experience working with in law clinic with actual clients was a key factor in my decision to practice bankruptcy law full-time and assist those facing financial hardship..
