Aaron Schaer focuses his practice on securities and corporate governance litigation. He frequently advises clients in connection with real estate with known or suspected environmental risks, including allocating environmental risk among buyers and sellers. Ron has handled transactions involving retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and mixed use projects, including condominium developments and conversions.. In the business area, Ron handles the full spectrum of corporate and business transactions, including asset and equity transfers, entity structure (including joint venture structuring and financing in the real property development context) and governance. He has lived, studied, and worked in Japan; traveled extensively in Asia; and represented a number of Asian investors with U.S. business interests.. Ron’s achievements have been recognized by Super Lawyers® magazine, which has named him as a Super Lawyer® each year from 2004-2015. This is a designation reserved for fewer than five percent of all lawyers in Washington State. A northwest native, Ann grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington and graduated with honors from the University of Washington in 1997. She spent her final quarter at the UW studying abroad in Siena, Italy, and thereafter traveled extensively through Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Ann graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law in 2002, and began her law career at an insurance defense litigation firm. There her practice was dedicated to insurance defense work in the areas of personal injury, medical negligence, and construction accidents. In 2005, she transitioned to plaintiff’s trial work and joined PWRLK. Her current practice continues to focus on litigation and trial work in the areas of personal injury and medical and dental negligence, with some insurance coverage work. Ann is an active member of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ); she has served on the Board of Governors for 10 years.  As a young lawyer Ann was repeatedly named a Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics.  In recent years she has been named a Super Lawyer and in 2017 was named to Washington Law & Politics' list of top 50 women attorneys.

A life-long resident of Washington State, Matt attended the University of Washington where he studied Asian History and Mandarin Chinese. After being elected Phi Beta Kappa in his Junior year, he graduated magna cum laude and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the UW in 1979. For over 30 years, he has represented plaintiffs in claims involving personal injury and wrongful death, primarily in the areas of medical negligence, construction accidents, personal injury and product liability, including toxic substances and pharmaceuticals. In addition to extensive work on various committees of the State and King County Bar Associations, Matt has served on the Board of Governors of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ) and is a former Chair of the Association’s Medical Negligence Section. He is also a past editor of the Association’s magazine, Trial News, and has been a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) since 1985. Matt enjoys speaking at legal seminars and has published on various litigation subjects in legal periodicals and journals. Matt is consistently ranked as a “Super Lawyer®” by Washington Law & Politics magazine. In his free time, Matt is something of an exercise nut, regularly running, biking and weightlifting, but what Matt enjoys most is spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also served for a number of years as a member and President of the Board of Olympic Ballet Theatre in Edmonds, WA where he has participated onstage in several productions. When he began in his profession years ago, Matt wanted to change the world. He soon discovered that what he can do best is help individuals. He derives his greatest satisfaction from doing just that-- helping one person at a time.

A graduate of Harvard College and Yale Law School, Mr. Kalish is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried more than thirty trials to jury verdict. Mr. Kalish’s practice focuses on complex trial work, and he represents employees and individuals in all aspects of employment litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kalish was a felony prosecutor at the King County Prosecutor’s Office, where he tried several cases, ranging from identity theft to first degree murder. Prior to that, he clerked for a federal judge and worked at Perkins Coie, the premier defense law firm in the Northwest.  He enjoys helping individuals and respects employees who are willing to fight against inappropriate and unfair actions by their employers.
