I moved to Alaska in 1992 from Michigan where I now enjoy emeritus status. I've been licensed in Alaska since 1994.. I have spent ten years of my career in public service as a District Attorney, an Assistant Attorney General under Governor Sarah Palin and City and Borough Attorney for both Sitka and the North Slope Borough. The other 20 years of my career have been in private practice, defending people accused of serious crimes, as well as assisting persons in CINA, ICWA and juvenile cases. I have a background in Social Security, contract law, wrongful discharge and property law. I practice in both State and Federal Court and have been a member of the Federal CJA. I love southeast Alaska but have lived in Anchorage, Wasilla and Barrow, besides Sitka.. Sitka is where I want to stay. I have adult children, cats and a border collie.
