After attending college at Trinity University in Texas, I returned to Denver and worked at the Colorado State Auditor's office and pursued my certified public accountant's license. I then attended law school at the University of Denver. I have taken that knolwedge combined with my experience as a certified public accountant and have used it in private practice since 2004 to assist taxpayers with all types of tax issues including audits, collection matters, employment tax/trust fund issues, voluntary disclousres, offshore bank disclosures, offers in compromise, innocent spouse, identify theft, penalty abatements, tax appeals and U.S. Tax Court cases. I have also represented many criminal clients and witnesses in criminal tax investigations and criminal tax prosecutions.. My partner and I also represent the Jefferson County Health Department and Board of Health so I have expertise in environmental and public health issues..
