I am originally from Spokane, attending East Valley High School and Gonzaga University. After law school at the University of Washington I served a tour in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG). I was stationed in Germany and San Antonio, Texas.  We returned to Spokane in August 2010.. I am married with four children and I enjoy spending time with my family. Right now, that mainly involves youth sports like soccer and basketball games.. We our members of Valley Real Life, a local non-denominational church.

Annika graduated from Eastern Washington University, after initially attending Whitworth University. From 2017 to 2019, she traveled to Yellowstone National Park to work as a wrangler, giving horse-back riding tours and driving draft horses in the backcountry. Annika attended Gonzaga Law School, where she graduated with honors.. Outside of the office, Annika can be found riding and training horses, tending to a large collection of houseplants, or attending Southside Christian Church with her family.
