Here he was tasked with supervising the Assistant Attorney Generals in the Civil Trials Unit of the General Law Bureau, representing State agencies and employees in State and Federal courts and proceedings before the Illinois Civil Service Commission, State Police Merit Board, and the Illinois Humans Rights Commission, drafting and filing answers to complaints, pleadings, motions, and memorandums of law, responding to discovery requests, and trying cases before judges and juries.
