Andy Scholz is a Springfield, Missouri native. He earned his B.A. from Drury University and attended law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 2003, he became a Special Prosecuting Attorney for Attorney General Jay Nixon and worked in the Division of Public Safety. In 2005, he became an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Boone County, Missouri. Throughout his years serving as a prosecutor, in each of his cases, he was strongly committed to the physical and sexual abuse victims and their families. In 2010, Andy and his family moved back home to Springfield, where he focused his practice in family law. To continue his desire to assist families, he joined Rooney McBride and Smith in 2019, where handles family law, guardianship, and civil litigation matters. Abby L. Sgro received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in pre-law and Spanish from Eastern Illinois University and received her Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University.
