After 4 years at the Circuit Attorney’s Office, I was offered a job at Leritz, Plunkert & Bruning. Now I represent individuals in Missouri and Illinois in all types of personal injury matters. In my short time here I have obtained a judgment for $2.5 million and settled a large class action lawsuit for a confidential amount. Super Lawyers Magazine has distinguished me a Rising Star in the field of product liability litigation. I try to give back to community when I can.  I started the Downtown Neighborhood Watch Group and raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.  I have been named National Multiple Sclerosis Corporate Achiever for my fund raising efforts. I represent individuals, families and small businesses.  The vast  majority of my practice involves personal injury and workers compensation matters.  Personal Injury litigation is a broad term that is best defined as recovering damages for people when their injuries were caused by the negligence of others.. Outside of the law office, I try to stay active in community organizations, but frankly due to family and business commitments, such as my involvement with the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys to protect the rights of my clients in this State, these groups have taken a back seat in recent years.  In the past, I have participated in the MATA/ Red Cross Disaster related legal Services task force (co-chair 2010) and the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.. Gretchen Garrison graduated from the University of Missouri in 1982 with a degree in Hospital Administration. She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1986, where she served as managing editor of the UMKC Law Review and on the Moot Court Board..
