Ms. Ohms' practice is focused on busines and small corporate matters, both transactional and litigation, among other areas.  Her experiences includes complex multi-district antitrust class action lawsuits, construction law, creditors rights and appeals.  Ms. Ohms previously held NASD Series 7 and NASD Series 63 securities licenses.. Ms. Ohms presently serves as the provisional municipal court judge for Saint Charles County, Missouri.. Mr. Jacober has extensive litigation experience and focuses his practice on business litigation, specifically complex, document intensive litigation utilizing computer assisted discovery techniques to effectively identify and use supporting documentation to advise clients.  His experience includes leasing transactions (primarily on behalf of lessee), criminal and civil defense (including federal, state and municipal), qui tam defense (Medicare/Medicaid Fraud) enforcement of non-competition covenants, litigation on behalf of homeowners alleging builder or developer fraud and representation of property owners in condemnation proceedings.  Mr. Jacober has worked for the Criminal Justice Panel and was a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, assigned to the Illinois Department of Transportation where he prosecuted condemnation matters on behalf of the State of Illinois.  He also served as law clerk for Judge Frederick J. Hess of the Illinois Court of Claims.

Mr. Hartley focuses his practice on litigating intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement, trademark and trade dress infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and breach of contract. He has successfully litigated complex patent disputes in district courts throughout the United States. Mr. Hartley also has experience litigating other types of commercial disputes in federal court, including antitrust cases.  He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

I like helping people solve problems that they can't solve themselves. Most of my cases involve business disputes, property damage from fires or floods, or personal injuries. That means that emotions are usually running high by the time I first meet with the client.  I spend a lot of time up-front with my clients to understand their problem and how they want to resolve it.  Clients need to know that cases usually take 1-2 years to bring to a head, and that isn't cheap. They also need to know, though, that their lawyer will take on their problem as if it were her own problem--and represent them as if they were her own family.  Even though a lot of my clients are from large companies, they still need to know that I have the skills and the dedication to help them resolve their legal problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
