Mr. Kravitz is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar. He received his Juris Doctorate Summa Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University, where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Honor Society. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Florida State University in 1992, as well as his Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 1997. Mr. Kravitz has been a resident of the South Florida area since 1978, and currently resides in Coral Springs with his wife Dawn, and their children Madyson and Braeden.. Mr. Kravitz is admitted to practice in all Florida state and federal courts, as well as the First and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and its Construction Law Committee, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Bar Construction Law Committee.. During those early years of practice, I decided my abilities would be best served fighting for the rights of those injured, or the families of those who had died, as a result of workplace injuries, defective products, careless healthcare or other neglect or abuse. Since 1996 I have devoted 100% of my practice to the representation of plaintiffs in cases of injury or death caused by workplace accidents, neglect, abuse, medical malpractice, product liability or the violation of other legal rights.

I have been practicing in the area of personal injury law in the State of Florida for over 20 years. I handle my cases from the initial and assist my clients directly throughout the claim and litigation process. I have handled many types of personal injury cases throughout my career involving wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, brain damage, paralysis, surgery, scarring and permanent injuries in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties.. I was an adjunct professor of law at the Nova Southeastern School of Law for the past 13 years.. I am a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. Less than 7% of all Florida lawyers are Board Certified. I have been honored with entry into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum which recognizes lawyers who have settled or obtained a verdict of over $1,000,.. I am an active volunteer in the community. I was recognized as the Sheinberg Family YMCA of Weston’s Volunteer of the Year in 2010. Additionally, I served on the Weston YMCA’s Board of Directors including time as the Chairman of the Board. I have been a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida since 1997 and have been recognized several times for my service including the Volunteer and Wish Granter of the Year Awards.. I have volunteered to teach with the Junior Achievement program in my community’s local elementary schools for the past 15 years.. Before private practice, I served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida in the Child Support Enforcement Division. I represented the Department of Revenue on issues of paternity and child support, whether establishment, modification or enforcement, intrastate and interstate. There were also a few international cases in my division. I handled approximately 6,000 files at any given time, and had my hands on at least 200 case files a week. I spent most of my time in court, and it was rare for me to be in the office.. I am currently a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, with past membership in the Florida Trial Lawyers Association, Marrital Lawyers Association and Broward Bar Association.. I received my law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. My undergraduate work was completed at the University of Miami, with a double major in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism.. I raise Border Collies - sheep dogs - they are my children.  I love the beach, movies, music, travel and football.  I also believe there is nothing better in this world than sitting at a table with friends and family, having good food, great conversations and LOTS of laughs!

Dr. Richard Gendler holds four graduate degrees including a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.)  A J.S.D. is the Ph.D. equivalent for law and is the most advanced law degree in the United States.  Additionally, Dr. Gendler holds a Master of Taxation (MT.X.), a Masters of Laws (LL.M.), and Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.).. In Addition to practicing law, Dr. Gendler serves as a law and ethics profeossor at the Florida Atlantic Univerduty College of Business, a part time magistrate for Palm Beach County, as well as an adjunct professor at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He has written and published a number of scholarly articles in academic and professional journals on topical issues of law, as well as co-authored a widely circulated textbook on the essentials of forensic accounting..
