My name is Glenn Roethler.  I am originally from the Puyallup area of Washington State.  I grew up on a small farm where I learned to appreciate diligence and hard work.. I paid my way through school by working in construction.  I have assisted in building several houses from start to finish while working for my Grandfather's construction company.. I have many outdoor interests.  Of these, motorcycle riding has become my chief hobby.  I also struggle with playing guitar and would like to start struggling to play drums (I am sure the neighbors will appreciate it).

I have  over 20 years of experience in representing individuals and small businesses in bankruptcy. In fact, representing individuals and small businesses in bankruptcy cases is all that I do. Members of my support staff have been with me for over 15 years. We get a great deal of satisfacation in helping people get a fresh start.. We have a proven track record in obtaining successful results for our clients. We recently reviewed the records at the Phoenix Bankruptcy Court for the period of March 1, 2011 through April 30, 2011 to see how our sucess rate compared to other attorney's. We found that 100% of the Chapter 13 Plan's filed by McDonald Law Offices were approved by the court within 12 months of the filing of the case. The average time that it took our plans to be approved was 7.3 months.  When we looked at other attorney's we found that only 29.7% of the plans filed by all other attorney's combined were approved within 12 months of the filing of the case. Of the 29.7% that were approved, it took an average of 10.2 months to obtain approval. Surprisingly, 14% of the cases filed by other attorney's were rejected by the court within 12 months of the case being filed.

I have been practicing law in Arizona since 1988.  I was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania, attended the Pennsylvania State University; and obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.  I earned my law degree, cum laude, from the Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane Washington.I worked in law firms and as a sole practitioner.  I have represented private and public corporations, individual creditors and debtors, government agencies, local, regional and national financial institutions.  I have experience representing a wide base of client interests.  My practice is now focused on creditor’s rights and commercial litigation.  Early in my career, I gained significant knowledge representing federal agencies in all aspects of closed-bank litigation. I have considerable experience with the enforcement of debt instruments; foreclosure and receivership of real property. I have represented creditors, debtors and trustees in proceedings under Chapter 11 and Chapter 7, and receivers appointed in Federal Court to collect judgments arising out of securities litigation.  I have represented contractors and suppliers in all aspects of construction litigation.  I have successfully asserted bond claims against sureties and pursued lien foreclosure litigation on behalf of suppliers and contractors. I understand the parties’ issues and concerns, and have the experience to offer solutions.  My ability to offer creative solutions comes from representing clients for over twenty two years and seeing issues and resoling them from multiple points of view.I have appeared in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona, in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Arizona Court of Appeals, and the Superior and Justice Courts throughout the State of Arizona.  I earned an AV Peer Rating, the highest, from the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory, which is defined as: "Very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar."  I attended the Arizona College of Trial Advocacy (1992) and was a speaker for Lorman Seminars, Advanced Collection Techniques (November 2004); Collection Practices in Arizona (November 2005).

Clients also come to me for guidance through the bankruptcy planning process, including local rules and procedures, and associated tax issues.. Throughout my career, I have assisted with the reorganization of numerous business entities; reorganization of numerous doctor, lawyer, accounting, and other professional groups and organizations; and numerous real estate ventures.. I am regularly invited to share my insights and lecture at Arizona State Bar events and at other civil, legal, and religious groups.
