Mr. Deason received his undergraduate degree at Loyola Marymount University graduating cum laude. He then taught high school and went on to earn his law degree from Loyola Law School in December of 1982. Six months later, Mr. Deason was admitted to practice law after passing the California Bar exam. Upon passing the bar, Mr. Deason started as an associate lawyer at the Law Offices of Edwin C. Martin, Jr. He soon became a partner of the firm, which changed names to Martin & Deason, in 1987. After Mr. Martin retired in 1994, Mr. Deason changed the name of the practice to the Law Offices of Edward J. Deason.

I have been a civil trial attorney since 1989 and have extensive experience.   Employment wrongful termination and civil rights, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims have been the main focus of my practice throughout my career.  I also have extensive experience representing clients in severe personal injury/wrongful death cases, and in business-related litigation. Torres.  From 2009 through 2014, I was the Employment Law Department Head and Senior Trial Attorney with The Cochran Firm Los Angeles and the Cochran Firm California, (both successor firms of the noted trial attorney, Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr.).  In January 2015, I reopened my own firm, the Law Office of Robert V. Born and raised in Palmdale, California, Ms. Sanchez attended the University of Southern California, graduating with honors, with a Bachelor of Arts in English, in 2010. She then worked at Booth & Koskoff for two years as a law clerk, during which time she discovered a passion for representing catastrophically-injured people and became a very valuable part of our trial team.. Anxious to start her legal career as soon as possible, Ms. Sanchez entered Southwestern Law School's rigorous accelerated SCALE program, in which students complete three years of law school courses in just two years. In addition to her regular course load, she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and worked as an extern at the L.A. County District Attorney's office, gaining valuable courtroom experience. Ms. Sanchez received the very highest grade in six of her courses and graduated magna cum laude in 2014.. Ms. Sanchez re-joined Booth & Koskoff, as an attorney, right after law school. Because of her prior experience at the firm and her exemplary academic background, she has been able to jump right in and take on responsibilities and a workload well beyond what is typical for a young lawyer.
