Michael Ruttle graduated summa cum laude (top 5%) from Whittier Law School in 2012, with a concentration in International & Comparative law. There, he served as President of the Moot Court Honors Board, and was a member of the Whittier Law Review. During law school, Michael participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Portland, Oregon, where he was recognized as one of the top oral advocates. Michael graduated with a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach in 2006.. Prior to law school, Michael spent years living and working abroad. In Seville, Spain, Michael worked as a translator/interpreter where he worked with major international organizations, including NATO.
