Pit bull... the nickname I first received as a prosecutor.  I absolutely loved my 10 year tenure at the State's Attorney's Office in Baltimore County; throughout my time as a prosecutor, I learned how to fully prepare AND try cases at the District, Juvenile and Circuit Court levels.  My trial experience as an Assistant State's Attorney was invaluable, as I tried everything from a minor driving while suspended to murder... Although I am no longer a prosecutor, I still have the reputation of fighting diligently for my clients. Lee J. I received my B.A. from Middlebury College in 1982 and my master’s degree in 1985. I went on to attend the University of Maryland School of Law, where I received my J.D. in 1989. I began my career in litigation early on in law school, successfully trying civil rights cases in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.. My clerkships with the felony trial unit of the Baltimore City Office of the Public Defender and with the Law Offices of William H. Murphy Jr. gave me the experience I needed to start successfully trying serious criminal matters in both the district and circuit courts immediately after being admitted to the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars.. After serving as an assistant public defender in Baltimore for two years, I accepted a position with the Law Office of Roland Walker as a trial attorney handling both criminal and civil matters. In 1995, I was made partner.. Four years later, I began my own law firm, the Law Office of Gil S. Amaral. Doug Sachse, a married father of 6, is a 1972 graduate of McDonogh School, and a 1976 cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his Law Degree in 1979 after graduating with honors from the University Of Maryland School Of Law.. While at Penn, Doug played midfield for the Quaker lacrosse team. After entering the legal field, his interest in sports did not wane as he was the first to file suit against Robert Irsay and The Baltimore Colts the day after they surreptitiously snuck out of town under cover of darkness. Shortly thereafter, the City of Baltimore followed suit, and the end result was that many of the items of memorabilia from the Colts legendary years in Baltimore were preserved for the City.. Since 1979, Doug has had experience in numerous areas of the law. He tried his first murder jury trial in 1980, and has been routinely in court rooms throughout out the metropolitan area ever since. In the mid 1980’s he worked as an assistant county attorney, and represented the Baltimore County Board of Education in that capacity. In 1986, Doug became a partner in the firm of Turnbull, Mix & Farmer. David was born and raised in Baltimore.  He attended Calvert Hall College High School and Graduated from Towson University with a B.A. in International Studies.  After spending over 5 years as a Securities Analyst for a Fortune 500 Financial Firm, he attended the University of Baltimore School of Law.  During law school David was a student attorney for three semesters with the University's Family Law Clinic.  There, he argued cases for economically disadvantaged clients in the District Court, Circuit Court, and the Court of Special Appeals.  David also participated in a campaign to reform Maryland's Domestic Violence laws, and was part of a delegation that testified before the General Assembly to change those laws.  During his time in law school, David also interned for the Honorable Wanda Keyes Heard at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and for a Towson Firm, Warnken, LLC.   After graduating with a Juris Doctor from Law School, David was selected to clerk for Special Master Andrea F. Kelly at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Family Law Division.  After his clerkship, he was recruited by his former law school professor Byron L. Warnken to be attorney-in-charge of Warnken, LLC's Family Law and Worker's Compensation Practices.   In 2010, David decided to pursue his dream of opening his own law firm.  He believed that in starting his own law practice, he could more effectively represent his client's varied legal needs.  Today David focuses on Family Law, Worker's Compensation Claims, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, Law Enforcement Officer's Bill of Rights (LEOBR), and general civil matters.  David frequently represents Maryland State Troopers, and supports the Maryland Troopers Association.
