Lee J. Eidelberg, recognized by Maryland Super Laywers, The National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, received his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board, the University's Honor Court as a prosecutor, and authored "Wrongful Birth," University of Baltimore Law Forum, Vol. 2, 1982. A 1979 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, he also holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing management. Debra A. Thomas is a Baltimore native. She is married with two sons. She has over 20 years of experience as a trial attorney and has tried cases in all jurisdictions of Maryland.. Debra A. Thomas attended Western High School and after graduation attended Goucher College, receiving a B.A.  She attended the University of Baltimore Law School where she received a Juris Doctor degree.  She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1995. She is a member of the Maryland State Bar, Baltimore City Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, Women's Bar Association, Maryland Association for Justice (formerly Trial Lawyer's Assoc.), and Alliance of Black Women Attorneys.   She is also a member of the National Black Lawyer Association.  In 2015, she was appointed by Governor Hogan to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 3rd District, Baltimore County where she interviewed and determined eligible candidates for the bench. She has been the Chair of the Family Law Committee of the Baltimore City Bar and Co-Chair of Family Law Committee of Maryland Association of Justice. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Maryland Legal Services Corporations which provides milliions of dollars to non profit agencies that provide legal services to those who cannot afford private attorneys.. Ms. Thomas worked as a Casualty Claim Manager for Allstate Insurance Company and later worked as a Trial Attorney at the Allstate Staff Counsel office in Baltimore. Admitted to the Bar in 1975.  I am a 1975 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law where I was the Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review.  I served a one year year clerkship after law school, 1975 - 1976, at the  Maryland Court of Appeals, our state's highest appellate court.  I served for five and a half years as an Assitant United States Attorney in Maryland from April 1980 to October 1985.  During that time I was an instructor on litigation topics at the Department of Justice's Advocacy Traiuning Program.  My practice consists of commercial and general litigation and white collar criminal defense.  I am a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  I am also a Fellow of the Marylkand Bar Foundation.   I am listed in Best Lawyers in America in the areas of commercial litigation, white collar criminal defense and non-white collar criminal defense.  I am also listed in Maryland Superlawyers in general litigatiand and was listed by Maryland Superlawyers as one of the top 100 lawyers in Maryland in 2012 .I have an AV rating from Marindale Hubbell. I have been an instructor in legal writing at the University of Baltimore School of Law and have given presentations on various litigation issues to practicing attorneys, including through the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education for Lawyers.  I am a regular commenter on legal issues of current interest for WBFF-TV, Fox 45 in Baltimore.
