As the father of three (3) intelligent and precocious children, I know how important it is to protect and guide them into an unknown, uncertain and unknowing future. They deserve all of the assets and assistance they can get to succeed in a future that you, as their parent or guardian, may not see. Never trust your life or your children's lives with an inexperienced or untested attorney. Never! I have over thirty (30) years experience as the lead trial lawyer -- including death penalty and representing major Fortune 100 companies -- but found the criminal and civil aspects of the practice of law unfulfilling. A good lawyer can effect the lives of those living today while a great lawyer can effect the lives of those who are living and coming of age today, tomorrow and well into the future. I look forward to being of service to you and your children now, tomorrow and far into that unknown and unknowing future.

Although originally from the East Coast, I prefer the desert climate and lifestyle and have resided happily in Tucson for the past eighteen years with my husband and son (I've only resided with him for the last eight years because he’s only eight years old). I believe that in family law, no two clients and no two cases are the same so all representation must be carefully tailored to meet the goals and needs of each individual client with either preventive measures or litigation - whichever achieves the client’s goals. I can see both side of any argument, which is evident by the fact that I like both dogs and cats, Wildcats anyways, in equal measure. Never shy about voicing my opinion, whether solicited or not, I have been playfully referred to as a wallflower due to my ability to "speak" in terms that would make a longshoreman blush.

I was a member of the our national trial team, and participated in four oral argument competitions, winning first place in three of them and placing the second in the other.. After graudation in 2012 I spent nearlly 2 years working in the area of international human rights and doing some mediation work before deciding to pursue a more conventional legal career in criminal defense. I then spent two years as a Law Clerk at the Pima County Public Defenders, where I worked closely with more than 50 trial lawyers on over 400 cases.. I handle both misdemeanor and felony cases. I promise you strong and dedicated representation, ensuring that you are treated fairly and justly throughout all phases of your case. Your best interests are my top priority.
After graduating law school and earning my BAR card I started practicing with a large, local firm. I practiced at that firm for almost 15 years and while I gained a tremendous amout of experience I wanted something more. What I wanted was a personal connection to those I represented. I wanted to learn who they are and how their situation impacted them and their loved ones. I wanted to really know their story.. I started my own practice with that in mind. My entire team understands who I am and who we represent. What we do matters and we remember that every minute of every day. You will be able to find lawyers who are juggling more cases and I cannot imagine you will find a personal advocate who cares more about the outcome of your matter!
