While attending law school he worked as a Staff Assistant with the Beasley Allen Law Firm in 2003 and 2004. In October of 2004 he accepted a position in practice with long time Montgomery estate planning attorney Tom Kotouc. In April of 2007, Doug was admitted to the Alabama State Bar, and later the Florida Bar. He is now the managing partner of Kotouc and Vogel Law Firm.. Doug concentrates his practice in the areas of elder law, estate and trust planning, probate, and small business formation. He is also a VA accredited attorney and he has helped many Veterans and widows of Veterans obtain the VA Pension with Aid and Attendance. Doug has professionally lectured on elder law, Medicaid eligibility, estate planning, and probate.. Doug is an active member of the Elder Law Section of the Alabama Bar, the Montgomery County Bar, and the Christian Legal Society..
