I grew up in Waco and attended University High School, where my first mock trial got me hooked on the law.  Since then, I have worked towards advancing my education and my expertise.  I keep up with current events, and my main focus is justice and equality.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University (B.A.) and Baylor Law School. I'm a former prosecutor and love being in the courtroom. I got involved in law for the same reason so many folks open businesses, join nonprofits, and start families: to make a difference in others' lives and leave a mark on the world.. Before I started my law firm, the best time I'd ever had was the summer of 2010, following my Ghanian friend and mentor around his home country to watch him consult, advise, and develop nonprofits to better serve the people of Ghana. FAMILY. I was born in Waco, Texas and even though I moved around a bit, in the end I decided to come home to settle down.  I live in Waco with my wife, Cindy, with whom I have been married to since 2002 and our son, Edgar.  We have several pets (two cats, a dog, a fish, and a lizard) and spend our free time watching movies, camping, or just hanging out together..
