Katrine H. Bakhtiary was raised in Waldorf, Charles County, Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts the University of Maryland, College Park and went on to attend and receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Bakhtiary participated in the Innocence Project Clinic and served as a Recent Developments Editor for the University of Baltimore School of Law’s legal journal, Law Forum. She then went on to serve as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Amy J. Bragunier, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Charles County, Maryland..
