I am David McLoon, a native of Massachusetts raised by parents who struggled like hell to make ends meet. Because of this, I have concentrated my practice in areas that can help the average working people and the less fortunate overcome legal obstacles in their lives. I am here professionally to help people with Consumer Bankruptcy, Unfair Debt Collection and Credit Reporting, and other Debtor’s Rights matters.. For over 25 years I have concentrated my law practice in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy, helping individuals and small businesses with debt problems. During that time, I have helped many, many people like you who have suffered from seemingly insurmountable debt problems. I do not represent creditors or financial institutions so that I can maintain my loyalty to the many people who have needed my help. You will receive that same loyalty and consideration as my client.. I am a proud member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. NACBA is a first class organization and does an excellent job of keeping its members current on the latest issues affecting families in need of Bankruptcy assistance. I have also been fortunate enough to have presented numerous Debtor Clinics for Neighborhood Legal Services in Lynn as well as presenting Bankruptcy practice education for new attorneys.. Having been raised in Ipswich, Massachusetts I enjoy antiques, old houses and the many beaches, parks and historic sites on the North Shore. My first job in High School was landscaping for the Ipswich Historical Society and I feel fortunate to live in an area that is so rich in history and natural resources. We also enjoy some great schools and world class medical care! Not to mention some of the best sports teams in the country (Go Pats!!). I have also had fun taking part in various community and pro bono activities, from coordinating the Fourth of July ceremonies when I lived in Bath, Maine to participating as a member of school committees and parent advisory boards.
