Phil is a nationally recognized bankruptcy expert having participated in bankruptcy cases and bankruptcy litigation in all jurisdictions in the suburban Washington, D. C. area and many jurisdictions nationally, including, most recently, New York and Louisiana.  Phil is the managing partner of Hughes & Bentzen, PLLC, a D. C. firm which also maintains an office in Maryland.  He concentrates his practice in commercial and real estate litigation, corporate representation and contract review and bankruptcy and creditors' rights. Attorney Christopher Hoge focuses on civil litigation in the District of Columbia and Maryland local and federal courts, and has developed expertise in the areas of legal malpractice and controversies between lawyers and clients, including fee disputes. Chris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BA 1970) and the American University Law School (JD 1974), and served as law clerk to Judge Revercomb of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
